PLANNING: A scheme for 27 dwellings was historically sketched up by a developer (who has since ceased trading) for the site (see below), and a scheme for 11 dwellings (including 4 affordable and 7 self-build market plots) was submitted by the vendor as an outline planning application (Ref.PA14/02356), although this was recommended for approval planning was not granted due to protracted S106 negotiations regarding the estate road.

There have recently been a few pre-application enquiries for residential development of the site - PA16/03251/PREAPP, PA17/00987/PREAPP and PA17/02021/PREAPP. The general conclusion from these pre-applications is that residential development of the site would be acceptable, subject to the requirement of 30% affordable housing.
